Getting Started
System Requirements
You will need a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, plus headphones, a headset, speakers, a USB DAC or an audio interface to listen through. Windows and your device software should both be kept up to date.
- Have your listening device connected before setup begins.
- An internet connection is needed for signing in, downloads and trial access.
- Expect a Windows administrator prompt while installing or repairing, and approve it.
There is no native build of PullzeAudio for macOS, Linux, Xbox, PlayStation or mobile devices. Begin with the volume set somewhere comfortable.
This installer does not work on Windows on ARM.
Download And Sign In
Prepare Your Website Account
Once a purchase has gone through, paid customers sign in on the website using the checkout email. Anyone starting a free trial should complete these steps before hunting for the installer:
- Go to Free Trial while signups are open.
- Open the setup email, confirm your address and choose a password. If it has not turned up, check Spam or Junk.
- Sign in on the website and accept the current account agreement when you are asked to.
- Go to My Account > Free Trial to check your device-bound trial status; PullzeAudio does not issue a redeemable trial key.
Download The Installer
- Sign in at My Account > Downloads. Trial downloads are available once the email and current-agreement checks pass; paid customers use an active licence.
- Take the current Windows installer. One package is enough; the EXE and the MSI are alternatives rather than a pair.
- Run it. When you are ready to start, open PullzeAudio and sign in with that same verified account; there is no trial key to enter.
Have everything ready before you sign in to the desktop app. The trial hour begins at the first authorised device activation, which can happen during sign-in and before a single sound is played. Signing up on the website, checking the status page and downloading do not begin it.
If Your Email Or Licence Is Missing
Have a look in Spam or Junk. If you already have an account, Sign In on the website or Reset Your Password. On a trial, buy with the fixed trial address so the full licence attaches to that same account.
There is a visual walkthrough in Watch The Install Video.
Windows Download Warnings
Start With The Official Download
The current installer is published under My Account > Downloads. Save it, then right-click the file in File Explorer and look at Properties > Digital Signatures > Details. Only carry on if the signature holds up, the publisher is the one you expect, and you trust where the file came from. A signature proves who signed the file; it does not prove the file is harmless.
If Microsoft Edge Blocks The Download
- In Edge, press Ctrl + J to bring up Downloads and locate the PullzeAudio installer.
- If Edge flags it as uncommon or unrecognized and you trust it, open More Actions (…) and take Keep > Show More > Keep Anyway when that option appears.
- Let the download complete, then verify its digital signature before you run it.
When the message says Virus Detected, it has come from antivirus protection, so look at Protection History as described below. Network Error means trying the official download again and checking your connection; Disk Full means clearing some space. Microsoft’s Edge Download Guidance sets out the whole set of failure messages.
If SmartScreen Says Windows Protected Your PC
- Confirm the official source and a valid signature before anything else.
- Take More Info and read the app and publisher details.
- Where those match the download you trust, choose Run Anyway if it is offered.
A freshly signed release can still have no download reputation behind it. A warning that the app is unrecognized is not the same as an antivirus detection that names a threat. Should a work or school PC block you from continuing, its administrator is the person to ask. More is set out in Microsoft’s SmartScreen Guidance.
Check What Antivirus Blocked
In Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > Protection History, read the file path and the detection name. Refresh the protection definitions and try a newly downloaded official copy. If a threat has not been explained, leave it blocked until it has been reviewed; a suspected false positive can be sent to Microsoft For Analysis or to your antivirus vendor.
Add A File Exclusion In Windows Security
Excluding one named file, for a trusted file or a confirmed false positive, leaves protection running everywhere else.
- Go to Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > Manage Settings.
- Find Exclusions and open Add Or Remove Exclusions.
- Choose Add An Exclusion > File, then pick the exact PullzeAudio installer or the app executable that was affected. Approve the Windows administrator prompt if one appears.
- When setup is finished, clear a temporary installer exclusion from that same list using Remove.
Defender’s real-time scanning skips excluded files entirely. Narrow the exception to that single item; do not exclude a whole drive or your Downloads folder. Microsoft’s Exclusion Guidance has the detail.
Temporary Antivirus Controls
Should you decide to pause antivirus while you troubleshoot a trusted official download, do it following Microsoft’s Antivirus Controls or whatever your own antivirus vendor sets out. Protection that is paused leaves you more exposed. Keep it short, do not download anything unrelated, and switch protection back on straight away even if the installation did not work. Where an organisation manages these settings, speak to its administrator.
Complete The Setup Tab
- Sign in to PullzeAudio with your game shut down and your listening device connected.
- Open Setup and choose Begin Setup, or Redo Setup if that is the button you are shown.
- At Headphones, select the device your ears are actually on.
- Carry on to Install and choose Install Now, or Re-install / Update when that is offered.
- Approve the Windows administrator prompt when it comes up. Let setup run to the end and restart if it asks you to.
- Continue through Finish to pick the game output covered below.
The desktop installer puts the app on your PC; the audio components are prepared by the Setup tab. Leave setup alone until it finishes, and never copy files into your game folder.
Choose Your Headphones In Home
Use Headphones under Home > Engine to select whichever playback device is the one you hear. That could be a headset, a USB DAC, an interface, speakers or an output on a mixer.
- Pick the device in use today, not an HDMI, monitor or controller output that nothing is listening on.
- Before raising the level in the app, check the device’s own volume control and its Windows level.
- Whenever you swap or replug a device, come back and confirm this selection.
Your listening device is where sound ends up. Processed game sound travels a separate route through the PullzeAudio Tune output.
Recommended Headset Format: 24-Bit, 48 kHz
A headset or headphone DAC that handles 24-bit, 48,000 Hz (48 kHz) output is what we suggest. Analog headphones can only use whatever format the card or DAC they plug into supports.
- Open Windows Settings > System > Sound. Pick More Sound Settings on Windows 11, or Sound Control Panel on Windows 10.
- In the Playback list, select the headset or DAC you really use and open Properties > Advanced.
- Where the device lists it, set Default Format to 24-bit, 48,000 Hz. Apply it and listen at a comfortable volume to check.
Should 24-bit not be on offer, fall back to a supported 16-bit, 48,000 Hz. A few devices control the format from their own software, or hide the setting altogether. Never choose a format the device cannot handle.
Set Your Game Output
- Once setup has finished, open the game’s audio settings.
- Choose PullzeAudio Tune wherever the game asks for its main sound output, speakers or playback device, since the wording differs from game to game.
- Leave the microphone and voice-chat devices pointing at the route you want them on.
- Restart the game so it reads the output you selected.
Sound travels Game → PullzeAudio Tune → Your Selected Headphones. Nothing in the app edits your game’s settings on your behalf.
For everyday sound you would rather leave alone, music or browser audio, the route is PullzeAudio Normal. Choosing your physical headset directly inside the game can send sound around Tune. Should Tune not appear at all, work through the Service checks.
Checkout And Payment
Add PullzeAudio To Your Cart
- Open the Shop and choose Add To Cart on PullzeAudio.
- In your Cart, check the product and quantity, then select Proceed To Checkout.
Complete The Standard Checkout
- Fill in your billing details using the email your PullzeAudio account is already linked to. Anyone on a trial should use the trial address.
- Pick one of the payment methods your checkout offers, then supply what that method needs, with the provider it names.
- Look over the total, read and accept the checkout terms, and choose Place Order.
Pay The Amount Shown For Your Order
Send exactly the amount and currency that appear on that order’s payment step, using the provider named there. Note the order number the checkout gives you, so a payment can be traced back to it.
Hold on until the provider reports its confirmation; an order on its own is not a finished purchase. Where a payment is still pending, look up its status rather than paying a second time. Should a card be declined, a charge appear twice, or the amount not match, Contact Support with the order number and the reference your bank or provider shows. Your account password, a one-time code and a full card number should never be sent to anyone.
Find Your Licence And Download
Once payment is confirmed, look for the order email and sign in to My Account. If the email has not arrived, try Spam or Junk, then collect the installer from My Account > Downloads. The account and installation steps are set out in Download And Sign In.
All PullzeAudio purchases go through the cart and checkout described above. What the licence includes, and the price as it stands today, are always shown on the Shop page.
Tuning And Configs
Choose A Tune And Preset
- Open Tuning and pick the game or tune you are after. You can move to another one later with Change Tune.
- Look at what that particular tune offers; features and presets differ between tunes.
- Begin with a built-in preset or the settings the tune starts with. Listen before you alter several controls at once.
- Where it is available, try Footstep Sound and the other sound choices one at a time, in the same situation in game.
Choosing a tune decides the starting sound, while a preset fixes a combination of controls. Neither one moves the game’s output device. Check the Tune route is in place before you conclude a preset did nothing.
The Tuning Guide gives a short introduction to tunes, variants, presets and the sound controls.
Use Common Configs
- Sign in and go to My Account > Common Configs.
- Filter by Tune to bring up the tune you want to compare.
- Look over the sound choices, switches, presets and Easy Tune slider positions.
- Back in the app, select the tune that matches and adjust only the settings you mean to try.
What you are looking at is community preference. No config file is downloaded here, and nothing is applied to your app. Values that appear popular on separate rows can come from entirely different people, so they do not add up to one preset or to a setup guaranteed to be best.
The result depends on your headphones, your volume, your game mix and your own taste, so keep what works for you. Where a section has nothing shared yet, try a different tune or look again another day.
Adjust Easy Tune And Advanced Settings
Start With One Change
Where Easy Tune is part of your tune, adjust it in small steps using the controls by name. Shift one slider, replay the same moment, and compare with the volume set the same. Moderate settings are a better starting point than pushing every slider to the top.
Use The Available Controls
Not every tune includes Easy Tune controls. Where they are absent, work with Advanced Settings instead, or pick a different tune. Read what each control does before you touch it. Steady Mix and Even Volume, where present, are two separate loudness controls and neither one is your headphone volume. Try each on its own.
Keep A Way Back
Before a bigger experiment, open Profiles and use Save current tune as a profile…, giving it a name you will know again. Read the confirmation each time you use Reset: resetting a slider, resetting Advanced Settings and a factory reset each touch different things.
The Tuning Guide gives a short introduction to tunes, variants, presets and the sound controls.
Check Your First Match
- Check that Home is pointing at the headphones on your head.
- Check the game is set to PullzeAudio Tune and has been restarted since you changed it.
- Listen at a volume you find comfortable, and turn it down if gunfire or effects start to hurt.
- In a situation you can repeat, listen for footsteps, reloads, doors and movement you already know.
- Alter one setting, compare once more, and make a note of what got clearer or what got harder to pick out.
While comparing, switch off the optional headset extras, EQ, bass boost, surround and any other effect that adds processing on top. Leave the mixer routing you need as it is. Turning the volume up does not give you more useful detail.
Troubleshooting
Use A DAC, Mixer, Or Streaming App
Headset Or DAC
In Home, choose the headset or DAC playback output. Point the game at PullzeAudio Tune. Where an interface offers more than one channel pair, take the pair you monitor.
Wave Link, Sonar, Sound Blaster, Or GoXLR
Begin with a single unambiguous path to your headphones. When a mixer is in play, select its monitored playback path in Home and check that it arrives at the headset. Do not monitor the same signal twice, and never feed a mixer output back into the mixer.
OBS Or Streamlabs
Capture and monitoring settings belong to your streaming app, so check them there. Changing what the game outputs does not pick a recording source for you. If a recording comes out silent or doubled, look at the app’s audio meters and sources before adding a further capture.
Use Service For Diagnostics And Repair
- Open Service > Diagnostics and choose Run Diagnostics. Where playback is being checked, keep the game making sound while it runs.
- Go through the results one by one and use the Fix button or Apply Quick Fixes when they are offered.
- Close the game, or approve the Windows prompt, whenever the repair asks. When the simpler checks have not put the problem right, use Run Full Repair.
- Once that is done, check the Home headphones and the game output again, then restart the game.
Setup is for a first installation; Service inspects a setup that already exists. Work with whatever result your own PC reports instead of reinstalling over and over or altering Windows settings that have nothing to do with it.
Fix Missing, Quiet, Or Doubled Sound
No Sound Or The Wrong Device
Look at the volume on the headset itself, the Home headphones, the Windows app volume and the game’s output. Make sure the game is actually playing sound. If a USB device has dropped off, reconnect it and open the device list again. Should the route still not work, run Service diagnostics.
Tune Output Is Missing
Complete Setup, shut the game down and start it again, then look through the Windows playback devices. If Tune has still not appeared, run Service diagnostics. Restart the PC whenever setup or a repair tells you to.
Sound Is Doubled, Hollow, Or Too Sharp
Look for monitoring that happens twice, and for optional headset effects still switched on. Take the last setting you changed back down, or load the profile you saved, before you adjust anything else.
A Slider Seems To Do Nothing
Check the game is on Tune, that your tune actually has that control, and that the switch it depends on is enabled. Read the message the app shows for a control that is inactive. A setting being saved and a setting being audible are two different things to verify.
Update Or Reinstall The App
Go to Info > Updates and choose Check For Updates. Do whatever the progress or restart instructions say. Wait for an update to finish before you open the app again.
The desktop installer lives under My Account > Downloads. If Windows raises a warning, go back and check the official source and signature; older copies from unofficial mirrors are best avoided.
Reinstalling the app and repairing its audio setup are two separate things. When outputs are missing or the routing has gone wrong, begin with Service > Diagnostics. Name and save a tune profile before you make sweeping setup changes.
Account And Support
Trial Access And Getting Help
Prepare Your Trial On The Website
Begin at Free Trial, confirm your email and choose a password. Then sign in on the website, accept the current agreement, and go to My Account > Free Trial to check device-bound status. PullzeAudio does not issue a redeemable trial key. Once the email and current-agreement checks pass, Downloads opens up to you.
Be Ready Before App Sign-In
The trial is one continuous hour, beginning at the first authorised device activation, which can happen as you sign in to the desktop app before you hear anything. Signing up on the website, checking status and downloading do not begin it. Nor does it pause when the app is closed or the PC is offline. Sign in to the desktop app with the same verified account; no trial key is issued or entered.
Buy with the fixed trial address so the full licence attaches to the account you already have. If signups are closed, the signup page will say so, and anyone already on a trial can still sign in on the website. Common Configs stay open either way.
Free Trials Do Not Include Support. On a trial, working through the setup, tuning and troubleshooting guidance is something you do yourself.
Paid customers can reach us through Contact Support. Tell us your account email, the app and Windows versions, your listening device, the exact message and what you have already tried. Relevant screenshots help; passwords should never be sent and full licence keys should never be posted in public.
Nothing matched. Try fewer words, such as “headphones” or “download”, or clear the search box to see every topic.
